Through this code of conduct, we establish the framework for the fundamentals of Nerdearla.
The main objective of the event is to create a space for collaborative exchange where we can have fun, learn, and share problems and knowledge.
We join efforts to redraw the paths of discrimination, exclusion, and condemnation of minorities who have suffered and still face greater difficulties to exercise their full competencies, capacities, and potentials with freedom and equal opportunities.
We are aware of the multiple intersections that interfere with achieving this ultimate goal, so we believe it is our active duty, and that of the entire community, to engage in this challenge.
We expect sponsors, speakers, organizers, and all event attendees to respect the following principles of participation and collaboration:
If you observe and/or experience that these principles are not being respected, contact the organization and we will provide the necessary attention.
In the face of harassment, discrimination, or aggression behaviors, they are expected to cease immediately. Depending on the case, measures will be taken, which may include sanctions, expulsion, and/or reviewing future attendance to community events.
We expect to have the active cooperation of each participant to create an enriching and virtuous space that supports these policies and makes Nerdearla a place of heterogeneous, multiple, friendly, and inclusive encounters.
